Last Week, On My LinkedIn…

I went to Denver for Contact.io 2024 and was thrilled about the agenda and the people I met. I co-hosted the LinkUnite’s Women’s Forum Roundtable on Wednesday, focusing on thoughtful discussions and collaborative problem-solving. I also participated in the 'Future-Proofing Your Pay Per Call Business' panel on Thursday, where we tackled strategies for keeping businesses agile during turbulent times.
Stay tuned for key takeaways from the event!

I recently explored using path traffic to generate calls for pay-per-call campaigns and have more questions than answers so far.
I tested two verticals, and while I generated calls with targeted traffic to the right geo and age group, the results were minimal and not profitable on a CPC basis. The tests yielded decent quality conversations but lacked performance tracking, making it hard to pinpoint effective segments and creatives.
I plan to retest once these features are available. Despite past failures with this method, the results give me hope for its potential. If anyone has had success with this strategy, I’d love to discuss it further.

I found inspiration from Tracey Telgen’s YouTube video, where she painted a whimsical little house. Though I haven’t painted in a while, watching her process reignited my love for painting.
Over the weekend, I decided to paint with my youngest son, Gregory. We followed along with Tracey’s video and created a charming bookstore together.
Despite Gregory not sharing my artistic passion, we enjoyed the creative process and the laughter that filled our time. The result was a delightful painting and a cherished memory.

While flying from Denver to Philadelphia, I discovered Ruth Clowes' copywriting tips series on Skillshare via American Airline's free entertainment platform. Despite being exhausted, I was captivated by her concise and practical advice. It's a valuable resource for marketers needing to sharpen their copywriting skills. I'm considering a Skillshare subscription to delve deeper into this content. Check out the quick course, it's worth your time: link
I had the pleasure of trying a new wine while in Denver, and I must say, it was a delightful surprise. Rongapai Sauvignon Blanc hailing from Marlborough, New Zealand, had me at the first sip. If you're a fellow wine enthusiast on the lookout for a unique white wine, this one is worth giving a try. It's quite budget-friendly, retailing at less than $20.
Bonus Content!Lately, there's a new trend making rounds in the productivity circles - the "4 AM Club." Advocates of this practice profess the virtues of rising at the crack of dawn, asserting that it's the secret sauce to enhanced productivity, success, and even personal growth.Yet, I recently came across an intriguing article that questions the validity of this idea.
