A Page From My Business Diary ~
Last week we did several presentations and fine-tuned each successive one based on feedback. And let me tell you – the journey has been incredibly rewarding.
Addressing inquiries, understanding perspectives, and integrating valuable insights into our sales process has ben exciting. We're not just refining our documentation; we're growing, evolving, and gaining clarity about our product’s requirements and the sales/onboarding process.
Learnings from Beta Testing
Embarking on the journey with potential clients has been a truly enriching experience. They’ve brought to the table insightful questions and valuable feedback, which made us pause and reflect.
Through this beta process, we've identified a few minor areas for improvement within our platform. We're currently in the process of enhancing some functionality and adjusting a few reports to ensure they are more user-friendly and provide the information requested.
This process, akin to a dress rehearsal, is allowing us to elevate our product to the next level, refining it to instill the confidence we need to transition the product into full production next year.
Onboarding Beta Clients
We recommend that beta testers send us a sample file to run through their customized lead and fraud validation campaigns via batch file upload process. Sometimes we are sending data through various configurations of the campaigns to find the best combination of applications to find the ultimate solution.
Testing in this way, allows us to gauge the impact our algorithms will have on their business. Together we review results and make personalized recommendations regarding next steps.
The Balancing Act - Cost, Volume, Quality
Our review of the beta results takes into account years of experience in the lead generation industry. We know that validation, like many things in life, is a balancing act. We need to navigate between cost, volume and quality. Over validating, while seems like a thorough approach, can actually be counterproductive. It could lead to inflated costs and an unnecessary reduction in volume.
By running various scenarios and gaining a deep understanding of the potential client's business model, we can craft a strategy that aligns seamlessly with their needs.
Beta Client’s First Impressions
We recently identified a fraud and validation solution for a beta client who is now interested in being our first paying customer.
To summarize, the client said they were not only impressed with our services but also that:
Rex Validate provides significantly greater value than their current validation solution and at a more affordable price. This is a no-brainer!
A Paying Customer? Wait! We’re Not Ready!
We hadn't anticipated onboarding paying customers so swiftly and found ourselves scrambling to put together the final touches to go live. My priority now has shifted to finalizing the service contract and the Stripe integration.
While we work on the paperwork, our beta client is proactively working on integrating the API calls into their websites. It's a beautiful synergy of efforts, mirroring our shared commitment to making this partnership a resounding success.
The road ahead looks promising.
